My Booth display for Burrofest

Mancos BurroFest2023 was great! Blue sky day, not too hot. We were very busy with lots of customers – and the occasional burro visitor. The day started early, Mancos is a 2.5 hour drive from Gallup. We got to Mancos in time, setting up our booth and listening to the events nearby (Burro Obstacle Course) I was happy to see my friend Shawn Akeah, as well as meet artists Miki Harder and Elizabeth Kinahan (I’m a big fan of their work)

This might be a local-ish event, but it sure brings out the crowds. I mean, what’s better than a festival with BOTH donkeys AND Art? Not much, in my book. There was music too, btw. But, Donkeys.

I’m slowly getting work back online – if you fancy one of my little pieces (see first picture) they will be available via dailypaintworks.com – Summer is upon us, my 9yo is taking art classes all week long, and I’m getting back to my commissions. See you soon!
