A spectacular moth, “Merveille du Jour” is a perfect name – marvel of the day. Common to England and Wales (sometimes Scotland) with distinctive markings. They look almost marbled!

What a lovely name, “Beautiful Yellow Moth” – sounds so exotic. The real name seems to be Amaxia Pulchra Tiger Moth. Which is also pretty cool.
